1. Acceptance

By authorizing databasus to access a Google Drive account, a user agrees to these terms. If they're not agreed to, databasus should not be authorized, and any existing authorization should be revoked from Google Account settings.

2. The service

Databasus is a personal database‑backup utility. It connects to a user's own Google Drive to store and retrieve database backup archives on that user's behalf.

3. Access & responsibilities

A user is responsible for the Google account used to authorize databasus, for keeping any credentials to the systems databasus backs up secure, and for verifying that backup archives are complete and restorable.

4. Acceptable use

5. Availability

Databasus is provided as a personal‑scale tool, "as is," without any guarantee of uptime or continuous availability. It is not operated as a commercial hosted service.

6. Data ownership

All backup content remains the property of the user who created it. Databasus claims no ownership over, and no license to use, any data passing through it beyond what is required to perform the backup or restore operation requested.

7. Termination

Access can be revoked at any time from a Google Account's third‑party access settings. Revoking access immediately stops databasus from reading or writing to that Drive; it does not delete archives already stored there.

8. Liability

Databasus is offered without warranty of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, it is not liable for data loss, corrupted archives, or missed backups. Keeping an independent copy of critical backups outside of any single tool or provider is recommended practice.

9. Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated as databasus evolves. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
